Shadow and his siblings came to Full Moon Farm the first time in September of 2005, and the second time in October of 2006. Bred at a roadside zoo in Indiana, and abandoned at a vet's in Ohio, North Coast Wolfdog Rescue brought them to the farm at roughly four and a half months old. Shadow and his brother, Sunshine, were adopted by an experienced owner and sent to California for their new life. They promptly escaped from their yard, and had to be captured and re-rescued by Full Moon Farm the following year. Although still timid and shy, Shadow has warmed up to a few volunteers. His birthday is April 23, 2006.
Hi, I'm Shadow! Please sponsor me, and you can see me on the Howl In tour. I am not as scared as I used to be, but I am still leery of folks. Because I like to stay away from people, there are some great pictures of me! You will be impressed by my handsomeness when you receive your sponsorship photo!
We rely on donations and sponsorships to feed and care for our animals, and a simple sponsorship of $20 per month, given with your good wishes, goes a long distance towards covering the cost of maintaining all the wolfdogs in good health and keeping them happy and enriched! Sponsoring a wolfdog is a fantastic way to make a difference in their life--giving you a connection to them and their well-being.
